The Spooktacular Best of Halloween Décor 2025

I’ve been busy rounding up all the new trends in Holiday Decor 2025 and realized I completely overlooked one of my favorite holidays ever, that is Halloween!  I know it’s an unusual preference for someone in design but I really love that it is such a fun inclusive holiday for everyone.  Nick and I also love horror films so we tend to have the spookiest display on the block.  I love that Halloween decor is a thing, more than ever!  Even retailers like McGee and Co have a Halloween shop if you are into a more chic look for your home.

So here I’ve pulled together some of my favorite Halloween collections and looks, including something for everyone!

1. Jellycat’s New Halloween Plush Collection

These aren’t your usual holiday plushies—they’re quirky, charming, and almost gone already. Ooky Jack O Lantern, Broox Bat, and Mysti Ghost are just a few of the whimsical characters flying off shelves. Favorites like Skeleton Bob, Spookipaws Cat, and Mummy Bob add that cuddly, spooky appeal perfect for layering in your holiday setup.  How cute is Skeleton Bob?

2. McGee and Co. Halloween Picks

Wicker Witch Hats (Set of 2).  These sculptural wicker hats in neutral tones have become a viral favorite—so much so, TikTokers are DIY-ing their own! Designed by Shea McGee, they’re crafted with wire frames and moody wicker, ideal for styling indoors or out.  Haunting Skull Vase: A ceramic statement piece with glossy bone-white glaze and detailed features. It doubles as both a vase and decor—pair with dried stems or moody florals for understated elegance with a spooky twist.  And finally I’m loving the  Witch’s Broom (Set of 2): Handbuilt from mango wood and coconut twig, these broom accents lean into rustic charm. The twisted twigs and matte black finish create a playful yet artful sculptural accent perfect by a doorway, in a planter, or as part of an autumn vignette.

3. Michaels’ “Summerween” Collections

4. Anthropologie x Catherine Martin

Guys, really you need to check out the entire Halloween collection on Anthropologie but there is one standout collaboration you need to know about.  This collab brings gothic academia and haute-horror into stylish focus. Expect moody motifs like spiders, moths, snakes, and crows featured on luxe pieces—think coupe glasses, taper candle holders, marble pumpkin coasters, spider-web coasters, and more. It’s spooky, elegant, and way ahead of the season.

5. Terrain’s Elevated Halloween Aesthetic

Terrain leans into subtle enchantment, mixing ghost wax melts, brass skeleton stirrers, witch-hat lanterns, and marble tombstone boards. There’s a refined whimsy here—not just orange and black, but brass, marble, and muted elegance.  They also always have amazing fall wreaths not to be missed.

6. Home Depot’s Grand Halloween Display

Think bigger. Home Depot brings back its iconic 12-foot Skelly skeleton, now with LCD LifeEyes web-enabled eyes. But that’s not all—meet the Gruesome Grounds collection with a towering 15-foot Worricrow scarecrow, animated troll and dragon figures, skeleton pets, and Universal Horror icons like Bride of Frankenstein and Chucky. It’s epic.  We’ve grown an embarrassing collection of their Halloween animatronic characters and let’s just say our Halloween display every years is not what I would call classy but my kids (and the neighborhood love it)!

7. Funboy’s Tasteful, Trendy Inflatables

Not into eyesore blow-ups? Try Funboy’s line of classy inflatables—glowing ghosts, slithering “Beetlejuice” worms, and light-up floating apparitions. Stylish, not tacky, and so easy to install.

8. Mudpie’s Cozy-Spooky Pieces

If cute meets eerie is your vibe, Mudpie’s your brand. Think jack-o’-lantern pillows, sound-motion broom décor, skeleton door hangers, bat bowls, LED candy dishes, and playful Ghost Crasher props—with a cozy, homey tone.

9. Gothic Elegance: Velvet & Florals

Beyond specific stores, the overall décor mood is shifting toward the theatrical. Expect velvet ribbons, glittering candelabras, gothic ornaments, and dark florals—think haunted estate meets refined décor.

10. Classic Meets Chic: Black-and-White & Patterned Picks

For the minimalist spook-lovers: simple black-and-white ghosts, patterned pumpkins, and elegant cat motifs are trending. This subtle, trend-forward approach balances style and classic Halloween imagery.

Styling Tips for CDC (Chic, Dark & Cozy) Halloween Looks

  • Layer textures: Combine the wicker hats with woven textiles, dark stems, and glowing candles.

  • Mix height & function: Pair the skull vase with taper candles, cloches, or wooden accents for vignette depth.

  • Think beyond orange & black: Lean into Ash, bone, and moody greens or burgundy for a timeless palette that transitions well into fall.
