While I do love our baja shelf, I feel that unless you have very small kids and/or you plan to use Ledge Loungers (or similar), I would go with a smaller baja ledge. Ours baja ledge is 15 feet wide and 6 feet deep and in retrospect I wish I had made our ledge a bit smaller.
